"YourStance are predominantly a volunteer led model and have grown to deliver workshops teaching life-saving skills in 20 London boroughs. Additionally, our core team work in NHS alongside this role. For us the challenge to lay a lot of the vital foundations were not prioritised over delivery of workshops. It felt impossible to deny a community network a workshop to spend the day on targets, projections and stategy, as it felt to be a restraint to frontline delivery. However working with Lauren to re-wire some of our thinking has been essential. To recognise to build our sustainability through formalising strategies, frameworks and system implementation has given us the strength and resilience to know we can still deliver our vital work in another 5 years.
